Long Grain Cutting Boards
Long grain cutting boards may not have all the same advantages as end grain boards, but are still a great choice!
I design my boards so the natural beauty of the wood grain is featured. Because they are less labor intensive, the cost is lower as well.

Large Long Grain Cutting Boards
These boards feature a deep juice groove that is lined with epoxy for easy clean-up, beveled edges for easy handling, and rubber feet for stability.
The large boards are 23" x 15" and at least 1 3/4" thick (usually 1 7/8")

Most people are familiar with Walnut, Cherry, and Maple, but not Sapele. Sapele is an African hardwood similar to African Mohagany. It is slightly harder than Hard Maple and has a beautiful reddish-brown color that is a little darker than Cherry

I take great care in selecting lumber for each item. However, every board is different making each item unique. Wood tone and grain will vary
